 "I wouldn't quit the Coosings!  Sawb really stretched when he appointed me last year--my family, you know; we're not chauss or toting gold."

"I mean--boingy-boing--you single-handedly caught The Dread.  Why would you suddenly turn foul on us?  How stupid can they be?" 

"Please, son, try to be good tomorrow." 

"My goodness, son!  The word's not Dossum!" 

 "Yes, I'd agree this whole place has gone twirling mad!"

"...don't be quick to judge.  Beneath every wiggling glove is a hand, and it's behind the mask where the true man lies.  He has his good reasons, I'm sure: We know Dod." 

 "Don't worry, they're up to real action."

 "If The Dread is among us, then we must act normal.  Any suspicious behavior would certainly lead to a swift and fatal meeting with him!"

"Quiet as a mouse.  What would he have been shouting about?" 

"Why be mad when you can choose to be happy?" 

 "Oh--that Dod."

"I'd imagine all sorts of foolish articles will post about me--how I hate noble billies. They'll claim the most absurd things..." 

"Fine enough, but can't you let an old lady like myself use your facility first.  I'm likely to leak any minute. Your men rudely dragged me away from the shipyard, claiming I was trouble..." 

"Everyone deserves a second chance...everyone." 

 "You can't tell a soul....I was--uh--someplace I shouldn't have been, and I may have heard--"
